SEABOUND

A new gathering from The Killing Tide, where sound meets the sea.
A new one-day music gathering created by The Killing Tide, set on the edge of the North Sea in Johnshaven.
Seabound is about music with weight, atmosphere, and purpose — with artists who value sound, craft, and connection over noise and trends.
It’s a gathering — shaped by the sea, carried by sound.

THE STORY OF SEABOUND...
with Liam Beedie
“For those who don’t know, I’m Liam — I grew up here in Johnshaven.
This place shaped me, it shaped how I play, how I listen, and how I connect with music.I am proud to call it my home..
“Last year, we brought The Killing Tide 'Carry Us Across the Sea' here to Johnshaven , with our musician's friends and played to a sold-out room, the response was unreal it felt like something clicked between the music, the place, and the people.”
“Seabound' is my idea us coming back to build on that...
Not just another gig — but something that happens right here, every year...& 'Raising Funds for Johnshaven Hall'
It's gathering rooted in this coast, this community, and the kind of music we believe in.”
“This is about celebrating where we’re from, supporting authentic artists who care about sound , and creating something that lasts longer than one night or social swipe”
I played my first gig in Johnshaven when I was a young nipper aged 8..
Since then, I’ve been involved in music here in just about every way possible — from the
'Johnshaven Fish Festival' to 'New Year’s Dance' 'One Day in May' & 'Johner Jam'and plenty more in between....
The Johnshaven Hall Committee have always backed local music,
and that support has meant everything.
The Killing Tide wrote and recorded our first songs in the Hall — it’s where this band really began.Seabound is our way of giving something back.
“Johnshaven gave us the space to start this — now we want Seabound to grow with it.”
